Everett’s temperature continued to hover between 102°–104° today, and another X-ray revealed some fluid in the lungs. After a small dose of steroids, his lungs have been cleared, and his temperature has been less than 99° for most of the afternoon!

Blood pressure, heart rate, and respiratory rate continue to look great. Since none of the cultures from the lab have returned, and his rash is characteristic of engraftment syndrome, the Duke staff are very hopeful that all of the drama over the last few days has been due to new stem cell growth. So…this could be a very, very good thing! Keep those prayers coming!
