Another milestone…Everett’s eyebrows are starting to darken!!! One of his medications (Cyclosporine), which prevents his body from rejecting the transplant, is known to have the side effect of darkening facial and body hair. We can expect Everett’s hair to get much darker as the months pass, and it will last until he stops taking this med (approximately a year after transplant). This certainly is a rite of passage during his transplant journey, and we can’t wait to see how his new darker hair clashes with his extra pale skin!
