Porter’s fever broke overnight and his heart rate came back down to where it needs to be.  Phew.  So glad he stayed in the ICU overnight.  We are waiting for a room back in the PCU and he will be going down there sometime tonight.  They are starting some Pedialite through his g-tube today and then formula in the next couple days.  Porter was awake on and off today but a little “out of it”.  We’re thankful that his fever is gone and his HR is back to where it should be!  Now time to fatten him up!
