Porter remains about the same today. He had a couple episodes overnight but the docs continue to keep him sedated and paralyzed. During rounds this morning they confirmed that Porter was still on the transplant list just in inactive status until this infection is cleared up. They will be checking for this in 24 hours. The docs said they are reaching a point where there’s not much more they can do for him until he gets a heart as he’s on the max O2 and nitric oxide he can be on and all the medicines for his hypertension and heart. He’s extremely swollen so they are working to try to reduce some more fluid today. The waiting game continues………
