So we drove to Cincinnatti Childrens Hospital today for a check up. Her doctor said everything looks good. All of her lab work was stable. And hopefully she’ll get a new liver in the next 6-9 months. That makes me happy and nervous at the same time. I want her to have a new lease on life so to speak, but the procedure and recovery scare me. We had a good afternoon together, listening to music during the 4 hour car ride. And we stopped for a late lunch before coming home. She slept most of the drive home. She still gets tired easily. But all in all it was a good day.
