Daniel was discharged locally here to St. Louis till the end of the week. He has follow-up appointments at St. Louis Children’s but we will be home by Friday if everything goes well. We can’t say enough positive things about Daniel’s experience here at St. Louis Children’s hospital. The cardiology and gastroenterology departments have been absolutely outstanding with Daniel making sure he understood every aspect of his situation. The CICU nursing and ancillary staff, OT, PT, Child Life, Nutrition, Pharmacy, and Transplant staff all made his stay there manageable and pleasant. They were attentive to his needs and to the needs of our family. We are so thankful for the experience. Here are some pictures from the discharge from yesterday (4-16-2018).
