Our Story

Our sweet Elijah is suffering from a liver disease called Biliary Atresia. The only cure is a transplant. 

We are currently waiting on the transplant list at Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital Stanford in Palo Alto, California. We are separated from the other half of our family, daddy and sissy Caitlyn.   He is on 11 medications and vitamins that keep his liver he has to not go into failure.   Everyday is a battle for this little guy.

Right now we are waiting for his match and for a healthy liver to help let him move forward with his life.  Just like having kids are lifetime commitments, so are transplants. So while I would have never choose to put so much commitment upon my child, on such a serious matter, so young it is what we have to do to save his life.  The commitment will cost him time, money and the fear of organ rejection at any moment.  

With the cost of a transplant often exceeding $500,000, many transplant families (Like ourselves) are unable to shoulder the fin...

4/9 Update
