Sweet Addi has been doing so well, continuing to show more strength every single day. We did have a small setback today — the site where her bulb was removed began leaking some “milky” drainage. The care team ran tests on that, took a urine sample, and swabbed her nose as her white blood cell count has been rising. While these aren’t the updates we love to share, her doctors are being very thorough and keeping a good eye on everything.

Even through it all, Addi remains her happy, strong self. She has now been in the hospital for six days, and the current plan is for her to stay at least until November 10th.

Meanwhile, her sister Lainee is loving all the extra one-on-one attention but definitely misses her other half. We’re all looking forward to having these two back together soon.
