Home. 🏡
That one word says everything.
Two months into this journey, Addi and her family reached a milestone they’ve been holding onto since the very beginning. On December 10th, after another week of encouraging bloodwork, her care team gave the long-awaited approval for them to leave NYC and return home to Gansevoort.
Healing continues — with labs, appointments, and close monitoring still part of the process — but being able to do it from home is an immeasurable blessing. Familiar rooms, their own beds, and the quiet comfort of routine have brought a peace that was deeply missed.
And then there were the pups. 🐾
The reunion was pure joy — nonstop tail wags and a house that finally felt complete again.
🎄💚 Christmas, Reimagined 💚🎄
This first Christmas didn’t unfold the way Sarah and Buddy once pictured for their girls, but it’s filled with everything that truly matters: love, gratitude, and togetherness under one roof.
Addi continues to surprise everyone with her strength — now saying “hi” and pulling herself up to stand, reminding us daily how powerful this little girl is. Lainee is soaking in the season, all smiles and wonder.
Thank you to everyone who has carried this family through with prayers, encouragement, and unwavering support. Being home marks a hopeful new chapter, and your love has helped make every step possible.
