Two of my all-time favorite pictures of our Jaxon. In 12 hours (at 3am tomorrow) Jaxon will go down for his heart transplant.

Looking at these two pictures, I would have never guessed we’d be here. Just as I am sure the donor’s mother never expected to be where she is today either. However, we truly believe everything happens for a reason. Everything that has happened in our lives have got us to this point.

I have faith that God will see Jaxon through this. I can’t wait to see what his future will hold. Our lives forever have changed and that’s ok. We will do anything possible to make him well again. The next few days/weeks will be hard on Jaxon and his body.

Please continue to pray for him as well as the donor family. May their choice to donate bring peace during their difficult time.
