Well today brought more answers and more challenges ahead. Jaxon successfully had a heart catheter and with no issues!

However, he has to have a LVAD and possibly a pump for the right side as well. This will be implanted in his heart. This will allow him to come off the ventilator and will buy us time for transplant. The crazy thing is it will happen tomorrow.

We will meet with the surgeon in the am to find out specifics. The surgery will take approximately 12 hrs and will mean that they have to crack his chest open to complete it. Right now, he is still on the ventilator, feeding tube, has a pic line, arterial line, and now a catheter in his jugular.

Yet our boy continues to be a strong fighter.

Please continue to say prayers for our boy. This road will definitely be long but we don’t care how long it takes. We will do what is best for him even if that changes day by day. Please pray for the challenges that tomorrow will bring.
