Today is national donor day. We couldn’t let it go by without saying how thankful we are for Jaxon’s donor and their family. May they find peace knowing their loved one will live on through Jaxon.

As for Jaxon, today he has his 6 week follow up heart catheter to check for signs of possible rejection. They will take out all his stitches and staples from all his past surgical procedures while he’s asleep. Then the GI team will perform a scope to look for the source of the bleeding and hopefully repair it.

Please continue to pray for Jaxon, the medical professionals caring for him, and his donor’s family.
