Man oh man how I’ve missed this guy the last 2.5 days!

Went straight from airport to see him. The nurses and respiratory therapists welcomed me back and told me he couldn’t wait to see me. Then others said they’ve never seen him smile so big or for so long straight.

I showed him pictures of the spaghetti feed that were posted by the kids’ teachers and he LOVED it! I even got him to laugh a bit (with no sound). It was hard saying goodbye to the other kids today but it was good to see him so happy.

He is able to adjust his bed using the buttons now and this is a HUGE step for him. He’s doing so well and I’ll be having 1:1 time with him the next few days while dad goes home to see the other kids. I know they’ll be happy to see him too!
