Our Story

Twelve-year-old Aidan is facing a journey most kids his age could never imagine. Just three months ago, his life took an unexpected turn when he was diagnosed with stage 4 liver failure and learned that he would need a transplant. Since then, his world has been filled with doctor visits, new medications, and long conversations about what comes next. Through it all, Aidan has shown strength well beyond his years. Even on the hard days—when he’s tired or feeling sick—his courage shines through. He’s the kind of kid who still tries to smile, who still asks questions, and who still dreams big.

Aidan’s mom, Nichole, is by his side every step of the way. She is not only his mother but also his solo care provider, Nichole has carried this weight with grace and fierce determination. She has helped assemble a skilled and compassionate care team, and together they’ve built a plan to support Aidan through this critical time. The family has found great comfort and confidence in the transplant team guiding his treatment, which has helped bring a sense of hope to even the most uncertain days.

There are good days—when Aidan has more energy, can eat a little better, and maybe even laugh a little more—and there are tough ones, too. But no matter what, Aidan’s bravery never wavers. Whether it’s sitting through lab work, waiting patiently for results, or simply pushing through the fatigue, Aidan continues to show what real strength looks like. His journey is far from over, but with his mother’s love, a devoted medical team, and his own remarkable spirit, Aidan is not facing it alone.

Funds raised through this page will go directly to supporting Aidan and his family—immediately and for the long term.
