Ever wonder what a day in the life of a child with CKD pre transplant looks like? 

Every morning Jamison starts with 4 different medications and a cath session. Mostly pill form and 1 liquid. He prefers pills and takes them like a champ! Unfortunately, sometimes these upset his stomach.  When we found out he would need to learn how to take pills for his transplant we practiced with him by giving him mini m&m’s to start and gradually moved up to bigger candy like skittles. Easy peasy for him! Every afternoon, he has another medication and cathing session.Every night before bed he has another 3 different medications and yet another cathing session. It’s certainly not easy by any means but we are here trucking along in this journey.
