Amelia recently celebrated her 13th birthday at the end of April and will have her 2 year kidney transplant anniversery in the beginning of July 2023! These milestones mean the world!
She is doing beautifully in her her recovery. With embracing the life of being a middle schooler with new friends, she’s adapting and enjoying the stability of reduced medication and freedom with dialysis. She currently enjoys foraging for mushrooms, wild herbs, and natural medicines. As a family, they all enjoy the outdoors, hiking, paddle boarding, going for walks, and practicing at the local skate park.
Amelia’s growth is remarkable and her family is excited for what the future holds! We are always in awe of Amelia’s strength!
