The eyes can be affected by GVHD so a visit to the ophthalmologist was in order. Everything looks great and he can read tiny letters clear across the room. Changing meds seems to be keeping his GVHD under better control, so our last hurdle to discharge over to Ronald McDonald for the long haul is his feeds. We are SO close!
Our current prayer requests are:
GVHD (labs to improve, rash, nausea)
EBV (control activation)
Physical rehabilitation (Left foot, nerve restoration)
Emotional strength (siblings as well)
Advancing J tube feeds
We ask that you continue to pray for his medical team, his acceptance of organs and the family of the donor who have given Jackson the gift of life.
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
- Jeremiah 29:11
Please share this message with your friends, family, and social media networks. Help us raise awareness about organ donation and bring hope to a fighter whose smile lights up the room! From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your prayers, love and generosity!
