Day 2 – Our leash is not long right now, so we are back for check in with Dr. Mo. All of the transplant kids get a bear to decorate and hang in the hallway of the transplant floor of the hospital. We’ve walked by everyone’s bears for the past few years and are so happy to be adding Jackson’s bear to the collection. Each bear is a life forever changed!
Continue praying for:

Physical rehabilitation (Left foot, nerve restoration)
Emotional strength (siblings as well)
We ask that you continue to pray for his medical team, his acceptance of organs and the family of the donor who have given Jackson the gift of life. Let this be a testimony to all who read Jackson’s story.
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

Day 3

Day 3: It’s a cold, rainy day here but we are enjoying the change of pace from being inpatient. Jackson still has to get weekly infusions and check in with the oncologist overseeing his GVHD treatment. We were just told we can order room service and feel like we are getting the royal treatment over on the renovated side of the hospital. What a great start to hopefully a relaxing weekend!
