Surgery went great with no known complications. VAD Doctor did tell us that, if complications do arise, like bleeding, then we will see it later today, BUT he said he doesn’t think she’ll bleed more then what is expected from today’s surgery. She did receive red blood transfusion and will need another bag later tonight.  Doctor did say that, if there is a blood clot or kidney failure then we will see that when she starts to wake up within the next 3-4 days.  As of now, her chest is closed up. I asked about her bone and muscle tissue and he said, it’s good, but he would prefer for her to be more bulky. But he was able to sew her up. We will be able to see her within 2 hours. I am so proud of this fighter!!! She truly is amazing!!!
