Update on drain tubes surgical procedure and Cardioversion.
Aurelia responded well again with these procedures. Another drain tube was added to her chest above her current drain tube that was not functioning properly. I was told her heart rate and rhythm responded well and Doctors told me that once they placed the new drain tube in her, Aurelia’s chest/lungs opened up and Aurelia started to cough and they got almost 300ml of blood and fluids from that. I was able to see her after about an hour. I was honestly struggling not being next to her.
X-rays was taken after the procedure and I noticed right away that her lungs looks so much clearly. The doctor and I looked at the X-ray together and we both agreed that her chest/lungs was clearer and she needed that new chest tube to drain out all of that blood and fluids. Overall Aurelia did wonderful again!!! This kid is amazing!!!!
