Aurelia’s heart transplant listening changed from 1A to an inactive status 7. Which means she was taken off the list due to this new unknown medical issues. 

Aurelia is doing a Cardiac Catheter procedure to check the pressures in her heart. Aurelia will also be doing a Bone Marrow Aspiration to check to see if a malingant cancer caused from her previous AML cancer treatment developed OR an Immune Dysregulation issue which is causing her white blood count to rise greatly since putting in her BiVADs. 

The Oncology team and Stem Cell/Transplant team, started following her last Friday. Both teams do not believe her AML returned. They are looking for a possible different type of cancer. 

Since we do not know about this new health problem rather it’s a cancer or an immune dysregulation issue right now, Aurelia’s transplant listing status has changed from 1A to a status 7, which is an inactive listing. Aurelia will not be able to go back on the transplant listing until the doctors can find out if it’s a cancer or an immune dysregulation. Some immune issues will require chemotherapy s asa form of treatment.
