On Oct 1, 2025 Aurelia was admitted into the CVICU (Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit) because her body and her heart was struggling with a new type of feeds that was given to her. We were told that she would need a BiVAD on Oct 3. Aurelia was able to start a new feed and her body and heart responded a lot better on the new feed. Aurelia did not do a BiVAD on 10/3 because her body and heart responded nicely with the change of feeds and additional medication. Aurelia spent 2 weeks in the CVICU and today, 10/15 she was admitted back on the floor in the regular hospital room. 

ALSO on OCTOBER 1st. Aurelia’s name was officially placed on the HEART TRANSPLATE LIST!!!!! Aurelia is working very hard on her school studies, on her health, and on playing games with her nurses and doctors!!!
