On March 6th, big things happened! Her drains came out!

Her white blood cell count was elevated and they were worried about an infection. The surgeon seems to think it was a collection of fluid behind her incision which he was able to drain. Hopefully that’s all it is, and her port isn’t infected.

She’s a happy, smiley girl again! Word on the street is the music therapist here is going to learn a little Stevie Nicks too, which is Ava’s favorite!
