Today Brayan had a hearing test. The doctor said we know he can hear, we just don’t know how well yet. She said she felt like he had fluid or congestion in his ears so the test wasn’t completely accurate. She wants to see him again in 2-3 months to do another test. She suggested for him to be seen by his pediatrician to look at his ears just in case he is sick and we don’t know it. I took him immediately to the pediatrician and a nurse practitioner looked in his ears and said he doesn’t see anything concerning at all, just wax which is normal. She suggested putting some ear drops in his ears to see if it will clear up the wax. If we do the test again and his ears still seem like they have fluid in them, she is going to suggest him to see an ENT doctor.
