When Brayan was born, he was born without the septum pellucidum of the brain, which plays a part in eyesight. He has optic nerve hypoplasia, which is the shortening of the optic nerves.

Everything went great at his eye appointment! They dilated his eyes and looked at them thoroughly. They said right now his eyesight is great as far as they can tell. He follows things well and appears to see good. We will know more about his eyesight as he grows and can tell us how well he sees things. His optic nerves look good where they are at and has not gotten worse.
