Hey everyone! It’s been a while since we gave an update on our beloved Cairo. He is now 2 years old and is the most energetic, fun loving, happiest little guy. Anybody who comes into contact with him love his infectious personality and that he is a true joy to be around. Cairo loves to sing “Old MacDonald Had a Farm” with all types of interesting animals on his farm, like Snakes. Shooting “Hoops” with his father is always a great time, as he proceeds to scream and cheer every time he makes a shot. After family dinner, Cairo absolutely loves to wash dishes with his mother, so much so that he gets upset when it’s no more dishes to wash. Cairo also loves everything Spiderman, swim class, dancing, and reading books.
In a true display of Cairo’s resilience he started going to a Spanish immersion day care twice a week and he is fitting right in! He is very social and loves interacting with the other kids his age. If it wasn’t for the daily medicines and the super cool “tattoo” across his belly, one wouldn’t know that Cairo had such a major life changing surgery, which is a true blessing. The Cole Family is forever thankful to COTA and appreciative for having such a supportive village. Until next time…
