Our Story

Born and raised in McKinney, Texas, Clark Wilcox is the most interesting baby you will ever meet! Clark is an Allagile Syndrome warrior.  At only two years old, little Clark has already had an interesting journey. Entering foster care at only a few weeks old, being adopted days before his first birthday, and shortly after celebrating his second birthday, receiving a life saving liver transplant. Clark has always been a blessing to everyone he meets, but now post transplant he is happy, healthy, and full of toddler energy.

The Children’s Organ Transplant Association (COTA) helps children and young adults who need a life-saving transplant by providing fundraising assistance and family support. COTA is the nation’s only fundraising organization solely dedicated to raising life-saving dollars in honor of transplant-needy children and young adults. 100% of each contribution made to COTA in honor of our patients helps meet transplant-related expenses. COTA’s services are free to our families, and gifts to COTA are tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law.
