Off the Ventilator!

Cohen has successfully come off of the ventilator and his breathing tube has been removed. Big praise! He has started to wake up off and on and has even gotten to watch a few cartoons. But he is mostly resting. He remains on high flow oxygen and lots of medications. His fevers have subsided which is great news as well. All the surgeons and doctors are extremely please with how Cohen is doing and how his new liver is looking. The family would like to thank everyone for their support and prayers! They truly do feel the peace, comfort, and protection of being covered by the prayers of you faithful prayer warriors. Cohen still has a long road of recovery to go but we are hoping the worst is over and trusting Jesus that the best is yet to come!

Continued prayer requests:

-Liver health

-Continued stable vitals and decrease in need for oxygen

-Decrease in fluid in lungs

-Comfort and peace for our courageous Cohen

  1. Cohen’s school teacher at Nampa Christian – Kelsie Weymouth is our daughter. We have been praying for Cohen for several weeks. Praise the Lord for a liver for Cohen and we bless the parents for donating their childs’ organs. We are a medical family and have also had dire health situations with our children. Your faith and strength in the Lord will keep you steadfast and resilient for Cohen. You can’t change the past and tomorrow is unknown but today you are all blessed! Candie and Dr Gerald Carlson

  2. Such encouraging news! Prayers continue for these specific requests, and that his recovery continues to be stable and positive.
