Our Story

My name is Coleman Drew. I am 23 years old, born and raised in Montgomery, AL. I have been my dad’s right-hand man at his remodeling business for years. As my health has declined, I have found a new passion in doing short hauls for people. My hobbies consist of hunting, and I love all things ATV. I was diagnosed at 18 months old with Cystic Fibrosis, spent most of my childhood in and out of the hospital setting. At the age of 15 I underwent a double lung transplant. My body took to these new lungs like God made them for me. For years I thrived. Doing the things all normal teenage boys do. Fast forward to now, I find myself in need of another double lung transplant. I am now awaiting yet another miracle that God can fit me with the perfect lungs once again.

We have partnered with COTA for assistance with transplant-related expenses. Please consider donating to COTA in my honor.

The Children’s Organ Transplant Association (COTA) helps children who need a life-saving transplant by providing fundraising assistance and family support. COTA also works with individuals of any age with a single-gene disorder such as Polycystic Kidney Disease, Cystic Fibrosis or Sickle Cell Disease. COTA is the nation’s only fundraising organization solely dedicated to raising life-saving dollars in honor of transplant-needy families. 100% of each contribution made to COTA in honor of our patients helps meet transplant-related expenses. COTA’s services are free of charge and gifts to COTA are tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law.
