Great news! We were moved to inpatient therapy on Tuesday last week.
The week started off with a full day of assessments from PT, OT, SPEECH, her teacher, and RT plus meetings with psychology and doctors.
They all put their plans together and made a schedule for her days here. She stays very busy and is working so hard.
Every muscle is relearning how to work and you can see her concentrating to make the movements. She is determined and even when she gets frustrated she pushes through.
I told her it’s ok to cry if you’re feeling frustrated, all those feelings are justified. Tears cleanse our souls. She is learning how to use the wheel chair and walker and is beginning to take steps with the walker assistance. She can also reach her face with her hand now which is a huge improvement.
Cyla is working with a Speech therapist to work on strengthening her vocal chords and it is so good to hear her voice and laugh again as it continues to get stronger.
I watch her in amazement knowing where she started to where she is and I am beyond proud she is my daughter. Keep praying for continued success in her rehab.
On the medical end we will have more updates tomorrow after her clinic visit with her team of physicians. She has been spiking some fevers in the evening that we have been keeping an eye on. I’ll update again in few days. Pray for our girl and thank you as always for keeping Cyla in your hearts.

Keep Fighting Cyla…you have sooo many people praying for you. 🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️
