Golfing for Life

21 year old Devon was in a head on collision in April, 2021. The seatbelt saved her life but severed her aorta and the main artery leading to her intestines. They were without blood for too long and began to die, so Devon qualifies for a rare but life saving small intestine and colon transplant. She will go on the waiting list in the fall of 2021.

Toni Sperlbaum is Devon’s aunt and the organizer of this event.

We are raising funds for The Children’s Organ Transplant Association (COTA) where 100% of funds raised go to COTA in honor of Devon’s transplant to assist with a lifetime of transplant-related expenses.

Cancelation:
– Rain delay: the course will try our best to get us out there to play still, so dress accordingly!
– If the course needs to close due to water or some reason, The Meadows will provide rain checks for everyone to come out and play at a different time through the end of 2022
– If we start playing and end up getting rained out, rain checks will be provided to play another round up to the end of 2022
– If the event is cancelled before anyone shows up or plays, your money will be refunded but please consider a donation to the Children’s Organ Transplant Association.  Toni can check in and see how much you’d like to be reimbursed.  
– If you register and pay but don’t show up to the event, your payment is considered a donation and will not be reimbursed. 

RECEPTION WILL STILL BE HELD if we all show up and are unable to play and also if we need to end early due to weather.  Expect food, prizes, and a brief program on the cause and the beneficiary.
