Mothers are certainly a precious resource but it can be very hard to maintain that vital connection when medical necessity meets up with that desire for connection. Mom guilt is a very real part of the equation in long term care of her baby.

This weekend was a little tough at the Ronald McDonald house. That being said we didn’t get an opportunity to see Elijah this weekend. From the multiple updates I’ve been requesting from the nurses Elijah is doing just fine. Just living his best life. We will resume school tomorrow and visit with Elijah in the AM. Also mom guilt is terrible.
