Elijah meets an Astronaut

For those of us who are old enough to remember growing up during the Mercury and Apollo days in the ’60s, and early ’70s, meeting an astronaut was mostly limited to watching them on a small television screen and reading about them in our Weekly Readers. That was a thing, and space technology seemed to have new adventures equal to the Tom Sawyer tales we quietly sat and listened to our teachers read.

Today, there are more and more astronauts, but still very few when you consider the multitudes that remain here on the ground.

Elijah met a real live astronaut. I think it’s appropriate because both are exploring the limits of what life means to us all. And both will keep pressing those limits with the help of a strong support team.

Thank you Kjell Lindgren.
