Finally! After 6 months of waiting Emerson finally got to eat fast food!!!!!!! We started at Starbucks then Culver’s and then back to Culver’s for ice cream!!!! Emerson had her 6 month check up at Madison. She had a blood work up, a pulmonary test and her appointment with Dr. Hoffman. The doctor was really happy with Emerson’s progress. We will get blood work results tomorrow. Pray Emerson hits 200 with her T cells. Also, we will receive results in 10 days that measures Parker’s level of bone marrow in Emerson’s bones. We are hoping for good results so Emerson can possibly head back to school in the fall. It was awesome to see her so excited about something she really wanted! Life is good for our little fighter!
