At just 18 months old, our sweet Ezekiel is waiting for a liver transplant. He has faced multiple medical challenges, including significant GI and liver issues. Ezekiel’s condition is called Portal Vein Thrombosis (PVT), which occurs when a blood clot forms in the portal vein, the vessel responsible for carrying blood from the digestive organs (such as the stomach, intestines, spleen, and pancreas) to the liver. This vein plays a vital role in transporting nutrients and toxins for processing in the liver. A liver transplant is essential for ensuring that Ezekiel can live a long, healthy life.
To rally around Ezekiel through this journey, we have created this campaign with the Children’s Organ Transplant Association (COTA) to help assist with transplant-related expenses. We are incredibly grateful for every donation made to COTA in Ezekiel’s honor and appreciate the outpouring of love and support during this challenging time. Thank you for being part of his story. Ezekiel’s Journey will continue to be documented on this website and on social media.

The Children’s Organ Transplant Association (COTA) helps children and young adults who need a life-saving transplant by providing fundraising assistance and family support. COTA is the nation’s only fundraising organization solely dedicated to raising life-saving dollars in honor of transplant-needy children and young adults. 100% of each contribution made to COTA in honor of our patients helps meet transplant-related expenses. COTA’s services are free to our families, and gifts to COTA are tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law.
I am on a fixed income and have just recently relocated from Maui. I have a very tight budget right now; but there is no budget on my prayers. I have been praying for Ezekiel for many months now & the Lord has blest us all as in can see a tiny & fragile baby has become a big boy toddler.
So happy for the Lord’s favor & blessings upon Ezekiel!
Get well soon, Ezekiel
