UPDATES!!!!!!
We have bowel function, good bowel sounds and has been tooting away all day. 
Sometime this evening she should be able to start trying clear liquids. We are on our way!!!!!!!
A lot of pain at the ostomy site, not on the inside (her gut) but the site itself. She had a golf ball size hole there for many years so manipulating the muscle and tissue and skin to close that area is a little tricky and it all gets pulled very tight. So she is uncomfortable to say the least.
Update!!!! No sooner than I posted this Faith went POOP!!!!!!! I’m not with her right now but she did it! She is a little weirded out by the whole process of poop
