Today is #GivingTuesday. If everyone would please click the GIVE Button and donate just $12, it would make a huge impact. I have a tradition of stopping at Starbucks for a Frappuccino on my way out to Black Friday shop. This year, not only did I not go shopping on Black Friday, skipping Starbucks altogether, but I donated $20 today to support COTA in honor of Faith’s Fight. It doesn’t matter how much you give, only that you give.
I remember the Black Friday that I met up with Faith and her G-ma, who is one of my most dear friends. We hit Michaels craft store at 4:00 am for yarn. That was the first time I remember meeting Faith and we had so much fun for that 45 minutes spent in Michaels. Faith was a funny, super silly, gorgeous young girl. There was no way that little girl could have been so sick that she would some day need a life-saving transplant. But she was that sick. In spite of it all, this girl was spirited and no disorder or physical ailment was ever going to break that spirit. If you know Faith, you know she is just as spirited now (maybe more) as she was then. Let’s support COTA in honor of Faith’s Fight. Her family is faced with a life-time of transplant related expenses. Every penny helps COTA in honor of Faith’s Fight. 100% of donations made to COTA for Faith’s Fight will be allocated to assist the family with the transplant related expenses.
