Bone Marrow Biopsy

Jax had a bone marrow biopsy earlier this week. Brixxton, Jax’s brother and donor, was at the hospital with him. Jax also had an EKG that day. Both boys were able to go in the treasure box.

The anti rejection medication is still causing irritation to Jax’s kidneys, so Jax has to have more IV fluids during clinic visits. It’s no longer the Gatorade substitute, but the correct IV fluid, thankfully. His little body is supposed to have 1500ml of fluids a day.

Jax also had his favorite nurse, Ms. Emily, as his nurse, and he didn’t need his dad’s help for port access and de-access.

  1. Fearless Jax is who he is…
The bravest little guy there is!
He never stops going, it’s tough to slow him down.
So, don’t you try or you’ll get that little frown!
This little fella will be first to tell ya,
He won’t slow down, he’s a grace to his gender! He keeps up that pace, with all he’s gone through and I can truly say, this little boy “will” make it all the way through!!
His spirit, so strong, and that smile on his face, lets me know he is in our God’s Grace!
An example to all is this little Fella. He is a fighter and contender for the strongest little boy ever! He will “never” surrender! Go little man, you’ve got this I swear! I have never seen “anyone” that can begin to compare!!
    Love, Aunt Steph
