I know these aren’t the faces you want to see, but I already posted all I have of Gilli this trip. Tyson and I are trying to stay occupied to keep our minds calm. Her spleen has been removed and the pancreas has been removed. Her pancreas was sent to the lab where they will harvest as many islet cells as they can to implant into the liver. Her pancreas has to undergo an additional purification process and they expect the islet cells to be returned to the OR in 6-7hrs. With surgery hopefully ending 2-3 hours after that. Things are going as expected, it’s a long day and we truly appreciate all the love and support! ❤️
