Dr Nathan said the surgery went very well. Today is a difficult day where they try to find the balance of meds to cover the pain. They have been able to manage a little bit better this morning than they were last night. Today will be resting and breathing exercises & tomorrow they are hoping to get her sitting up. Gillian is so strong and while it is incredibly difficult to see her with all the lines and tubes everywhere, we are continually reassured that this is all part of the journey and is all expected and planned for. We are so grateful for Dr. Nathan, Christie and the entire team of amazing people caring for Gillian! We are also so grateful for all the love and support from all of you! THANK YOU! 💜💜
