As we reflect on the past year and look ahead to the future, we want to take a moment to genuinely thank everyone who has donated to COTA in honor of Isaac’s heart. It’s hard to truly capture how much it means to know that people we care about, and even those we’ve never met, are standing with us during this time.

Looking back, this year has been one of incredible challenges, astonishment at Isaac’s resilience, and, at times, fear and uncertainty. From two surgeries, learning how to live with the VAD, going back to school, hoping Isaac’s heart might recover to the disappointment of two transplants that were cancelled, it’s been a roller coaster. Through it all, one thing has remained clear: your prayers, good wishes, and overall generosity has made a profound impact on our journey.

Your support is a reminder that we’re not alone—that there’s a community of people who are cheering Isaac on, offering encouragement, and believing in his future. It’s made a real difference, not just in terms of easing the financial burden, but in giving us the emotional resilience to keep going.
