Back in Cinci to wrap up the TPIAT Eval

(Originally shared February 21, 2024)

We are back in our new home away from home! Jack and I checked into the RMH last night and he got to drop off all the donations that Viv’s girl scout troop gathered. Snacks are low here, so within an hour we saw all the items we’d brought out for guests to grab. It gives Jack so much value to be able to drop off donations every visit, so thanks to everyone who has donated. If you ever want to add to his collection, you can find their wishlist here: https://www.rmhcincinnati.org/get-involved/donate-items/wish-list/

We had a low key night, watching tv, grabbing dinner in house, and celebrating his first out-patient only visit with some Graeters Ice Cream!

Today we have a full day of tests and appointments. He is currently getting his sweat chloride test done (to rule out cystic fibrosis), then we are off to meet the pain team to talk pain management during/after the TPIAT. We also meet with physical therapy today and finally with the surgeon where Jack can ask his page of TPIAT questions he and his therapist comprised. I’m hoping today leaves Jack with all of his concerns addressed.
