Jack is cleared for all sugar free liquids! That means he’s been enjoying the occasional water, popsicle, and jello. He has to take it slow or it comes right back up. Little bites and sips are heavenly. He is also getting nutrients through his feeding tube and his body is adjusting well to insulin administration. All positives!

Yesterday Jack was able to walk all the way to the hall and back, about 10-15 feet. He’s getting so strong! Today he has already gotten out of bed twice and gone on another tiny walk. Tomorrow he will have the lines going into his back taken out. The team is also going to try to consolidate his iv pole so it looks less like a control center. Let’s hope we continue on this path and we should be out of the ICU in the next couple days!
Yeah, Jack! Orange popsicles are my favorite flavor. I am so happy you are enjoying them. Great job walking. Get stronger every day! Remember your #1 assignment I gave you! Take care of you! ❤️ Mrs. Crankshaw
