in the past 24 hours, Jack has:

started eating solids again

Been cleared to drink all liquids

NOT THROWN UP

walked 7k steps in one day

drainage from abdomen has slowed and is clear (no more chyle!)

GOT HIS DRAINAGE TUBE REMOVED

Oh, and we went to the zoo! Jack even went hypoglycemic and we were able to get his glucose up without him vomiting which was a first. We are on track to be discharged to the Ronald McDonald House by Monday!

From here we still have 2-3 weeks of daily appointments in Cincinnati so we won’t be home yet, but we are so over the hospital and can’t wait to be in a hotel like setting. Let’s hope this continues!
