Jake is doing amazing in surgery. His vitals are steady.

The team was able to successfully repair his arch, and his native organs have now been removed.

His new organs—this incredible gift—are in the room with him, and the surgeons will now begin to reattach them. We are so overwhelmingly grateful to the brave donor hero and their family for making this possible.

We are told this will be a painstaking and slow process, but it’s a huge step forward.

We continue to pray for strength for Jake and for the steady hands of his entire surgical team. Thank you everyone for your continued thoughts, prayers and kind words throughout the day. We will post more as another update become available.
