💚National Liver Awareness Month💚

💚 October is National Liver Awareness Month 💚

For families like Jaime’s, liver disease isn’t something we recognize for just one month. It has become part of everyday life.

Jaime was diagnosed with biliary atresia, a rare liver disease that affects infants and is the most common reason children need liver transplants.

At just seven months old, Jaime is already on the transplant waiting list, waiting for the liver that will give him his second chance.

Throughout October, we’re going to share a little more about biliary atresia, pediatric liver transplant, organ donation, COTA and most importantly, the little boy behind all of these words and medical terms.

Because to us, liver disease has a face.

And his name is Jaime.
