Almost surgery time. Getting ready to head down to the OR.

He’s now on the mechanical support and with any luck this can maintain him until the Berlin Heart comes in. They are going to keep him sedated and intubated for the next 24hrs just to let his body rest and get used to the new additions.

Jayce is officially on mechanical heart support(ecmo) and will be returning to his room intubated and sedated. We will update on his progress in a few days or if anything pops up between now and then.

Jayce is slowly starting to wake up and be more alert. He’s asking for spicy Doritos and apple juice. The ECMO pump seems to be working wonderfully for now. We appreciate all the love and prayers that we are receiving they truly mean the world to us. https://cota.org/cotaforjaycesjourney/
