Jayce is doing well. He is holding onto a lot of fluid so they are giving him diuretics for that and steroids for when he is extubated. They plan on later this afternoon to do that as long as he keeps showing that he is ready to do so. They lightly restrained him overnight due to him trying to pull out his breathing tube. He has a fever right now, but he did the last time he had a breathing tube in so they aren’t jumping into antibiotics this time. He is on pain meds to keep him comfortable. They also put in two lines(one upper and one lower) to monitor his blood pressures and make sure one isn’t too much higher than the other(meaning his aorta is narrowing).
