Quilt Donation

At the end of July we were contacted by a dear college friend of Arlene’s. Learning of Jeremiah’s need for a heart transplant, Janna explained that her college aged daughter, a gifted quilter was creating a quilt to raise funds for COTA in honor of Jeremiahs Journey campaign.  Creating a quilt is no easy feat but Jessalyn worked diligently and tirelessly on it. We anticipated that it would take a long time to finish and then to promote the quilt. However, at the end of the summer, when someone heard about the quilt creation they wanted to buy it and generously gave. Wow. Once again we were floored. Both by Jessalyn’s labor of love in creating this beautiful and one-of-a-kind quilt and the other individual’s desire to encourage Jeremiah. Thank you Jessalyn, for giving a gift from your heart, so that Jeremiah can have a new heart.  Thank you anonymous giver for hearing about the need and generously giving towards COTA for Jeremiah’s Journey. See pictures of the quilt in the photo gallery.
