Yesterday, Jesse was released from the hospital and got to ring the bell on the way out! He is officially able to receive out-patient services from here on out as long as his levels stay in a healthy place. This does not mean Jesse is returning to Owensboro, as he is still required to stay near Vanderbilt Hospital for a few more months for monitoring. However, Jesse is on cloud nine from this new sense of freedom.
A few other notes:
- Jesse has appointments set for labs and a check-up with his doctor today.
- He also has his next heart cath and biopsy set for Tuesday.
Thank you to everyone for following along with this journey and your love/prayers. Please continue to keep Jesse and his family in your prayers, and look out for upcoming COTA fundraising events! (If you haven’t signed up for the Pickleball Tournament, it’s not too late!).
P.S. Jesse looks amazing for someone who just went through a major surgical procedure. Our guy is a tough, tough fighter!
